Can two social startups unite and give users the best of both worlds in one place? That's the question being asked by Feedly and Buffer as they announce a partnership to change the way we discover and share content. Feedly and Buffer have announced the launch of a platform-wide integration of their two products, debuting an updated iOS app on Thursday as well as Android and web versions of Feedly with full Buffer support. Feedly is billed as "the smartest way to organize all of your news feeds," regardless of platform or device. The service would seem a natural to partner with Buffer, one of the leading social sharing startups in Silicon Valley. "We see a lot of users use Feedly to discover content to share with their social networks," said Feedly CEO Edwin Khodabakchian. "We decided to partner with Buffer to offer our users the most efficient sharing tool available on the market and make the boundary between consuming and sharing seamless." Driven by user feedback and a passion for a smarter way to use the web, Feedly's full Buffer support is available across all platforms starting today, including the company's web browser extensions and iOS or Android apps. iOS users will discover a new Buffer sheet for sharing content to more than 30 linked accounts.
