Today, the Dropbox desktop client gets an update, changing how we interact with our online data within the Mac OS X menu bar.After updating, the Dropbox menu bar in Mac OS X should now offer an enhanced interface, providing a more in-depth look at your files and activity in a new menu. The drop-down menu shows all the recent changes to your data, as well as invites to share folders. Switching over to the Dropbox website only requires a button click at the top of the menu."If someone shares a link with you, you can now get to it immediately â" directly from the Dropbox menu," reads a post on the Dropbox blog. "Youâll get notifications in real time as people share with you, and can see them later just by clicking the Dropbox icon. You can also accept or decline invitations to shared folders directly from your desktop."Additionally, a "share" button streamlines the process of opening one of your uploads to co-workers or friends.
